Winston Olsson attended the SeaDeep kick-off in Copenhagen on 10–11 September to discuss building the first heat pump-assisted InfraDryer for macroalgae.

Three weeks ago, on the 10th–11th of September, our Business Area Manager for Drying: Winston Olsson, went to sunny Copenhagen for the SEADEEP (HORIZON-MISS-2025-03) Project kick-off! Discussions revolved around how we, together with Kesacon, can build the first heat pump-assisted InfraDryer for macroalgae.
The dryer is being developed for Nordic SeaFarm, who will supply the macroalgae in question. We're happy to be part of this Horizon Europe project, co-funded by the European Union, together with everyone in the consortium which is being coordinated by IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet.
It's exciting to be building something that hasn't been done before, together with strong partners in Kesacon and Nordic SeaFarm.
