We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to own the full lifecycle of our prototype machines — from initial design concept all the way through to production.
What you'll bring:
- Strong background in machine design (at least 3 years of prior experience in the field)
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Solid understanding of production drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing techniques
- DFM/DFA knowledge — designing parts that are manufacturable, not just functional
- Technical understanding of FMEA and simulations (static and dynamic)
- Strong problem-solving skills — able to troubleshoot on the fly and think on your feet
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude — comfortable in the workshop as well as behind a screen
- Fluent in English
- Must live in Sweden with the ability to commute to our office daily, and hold a valid work permit
Extra credit:
- Experience designing and running experiments/tests — knowing what methods and test protocols to apply (DOE, instrumentation, data analysis)
- Knowledge of sound/acoustics theoryWhat the role looks like:You'll take prototype machines from concept and design through to production readiness — designing, simulating, prototyping, and refining until it's production-ready.
This means you'll need to be equally comfortable at a CAD workstation, working with production teams, and on the shop floor solving a problem hands-on.
